Anna Caroline Bobrowske
Anna Caroline (Uecker) Bobrowske, age 90 of Howard Lake, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000.
Anna was born July 26, 1909, in Albion Township, Wright County, to Fred and Caroline (Schultz) Uecker.
She was a life-long member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she was baptized Sept. 5, 1909, by the Rev. William Meyer; and confirmed May 11, 1924, by the Rev. Alfred Streufert.
On May 29, 1932, Anna was united in marriage to John Bobrowske by the Rev. William Kanning at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. To this union, four children were born.
Anna and John lived on a farm in Middleville Township during their marriage until retiring from farming in 1978. At that time, they moved to a home in Howard Lake.
Anna spent the last year and a half at the Howard Lake Good Samaritan Center. She passed away there, having reached the age of 90 years and seven months.
Anna is survived by her son, Kenneth (Gloria) of Howard Lake; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband John; one daughter, Ardis; and two infant sons.
Funeral services were Wednesday, March 1, 2000, 2 p.m., at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Leland Bendix officiating. Ruth Goerke provided music for the service. Interment followed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Keith Bobrowske, David Knesting, Les Kotila, Kurt Bobrowske, Kenneth Knesting, and Travis Kotila.
Arrangements were by Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home, Inc., Cokato and Howard Lake.
