Antonia (Toni) Kathrina Doering
Antonia (Toni) Kathrina Doering, age 79, of Waverly, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, in Waconia.
Antonia was born Sept. 17, 1920, to John and Elizabeth (Hinteregger) Painschab in Lake Charlotte, Minn.
On Sept. 11, 1949, she married Clarence Doering. To this union, eight children were born.
Toni was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her patience, wisdom, and guidance will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to raising her children and helping around the family dairy farm, she worked in a variety of jobs, until finally "retiring" to her corner chair and crossword puzzles in 1982.
At the time of her death, Antonia had reached the age of 79 years, two months, and 10 days.
She is survived by sons, Robert, Arnold, Ronald, Allan (Dede) and John; daughters, Rosemary, Beverly, and Joann (Doug) Reynolds; grandchildren, Jared and Corey Reynolds and Danielle and Mikenna Doering; sisters, Louise (Warner) Hohag, Anna (Stanley) Hohag, Elizabeth Klawitter, Rose (Loren) Skonberg, and Charlotte Lindstrom; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Antonia was preceded in death by her husband Clarence; her parents; six brothers; and two brothers-in-law.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2 p.m., at Union Presbyterian Church, Waverly, with the Rev. Chuck Risser officiating. Music was by Sonja Johnson. Interment was in the Woodland Township Cemetery.
Dale Doering, Josh Doering, Dean Hohag, Joe Doering, Wayne Doering, and Scott Painschab served as casket bearers.
The Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home, Howard Lake, handled the arrangements.
