Milan J. Dvorak
Milan J. Dvorak, age 63 of Silver Lake, died Friday, June 4 , 1999, at Northwestern Abbott Hospital of a massive stroke.
Funeral services were Monday, June 7, 1999, at Maresh Funeral Home, and Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at Church of the Holy Family, Silver Lake with the Rev. Robert Mraz officiating. Music was provided by the parish choir. The organist was Sister Elizabeth Gruenes. Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Pallbearers were nephews and nieces: David Dvorak, Paul Dvorak, Tony Dvorak, Terry Schwanke, Rhonda Kaczmarek, and Rosie Shimanski.
Born Jan. 19, 1936, at Hutchinson Community Hospital, Milan was the son of Joseph and Agnes (Anderle) Dvorak. He attended St. Joseph School, District 51, Silver Lake and District 13, Winsted and Lester Prairie High School.
Milan served in the U. S. Army from 1958 to 1960. He was employed by Pure Milk Products, Schwartz Manufacturing, Stearnswood, and American Selected Products.
Milan's hobbies included fishing, music, cars, sports, and spending time with family.
He was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Silver Lake.
Milan was survived by his mother, Agnes Dvorak; brothers and sisters, Myron and Fran Dvorak of Litchfield, Delores and Ed Goede and Harvey and Kathy Dvorak, all of Silver Lake, Kathy Schwanke of Rice, Sharon and Steve Chandler of Olivia; nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Arrangements were by Maresh Funeral Home, Silver Lake.
