Geneva Trevianne Fasching
Geneva Trevianne Fasching, infant daughter of Terry and Julie Fasching of Howard Lake, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000, at 8:20 a.m. at Ridgeview Medical Center, Waconia.
Geneva was born in Waconia Friday, Aug. 25, 2000, at 2:05 a.m. She was born again to be God's own child by the "washing of water in the Word" when she was baptized in front of her family.
She is survived by her loving parents; grandparents, Robert and Doris Schendel of Waverly, and Gene and JoAnn Fasching of Winsted; great-grandparents, Fred Schendel of Cokato, Lloyd and Esther Butterfass of Waverly, Ted and Marge Fasching and Derolla Fasching, all of Winsted; uncles and aunts, Yvette (John) Dockendorf of St. Stephen; Ted (Lori) Fasching and Troy Fasching, all of Winsted, Jon (Jody) Schendel of Waverly, Jim Schendel of North Mankato and his fiancee, Amy Mullenmeister; five cousins; and other relatives and friends.
Geneva was preceded in death by a premature infant brother: Tanner Michael; and great-grandparents Freida Schendel and William Fasching.
A funeral service was at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at the Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted. The Rev. Carl L. Taylor officiated. Geneva was laid to rest at the St. James Cemetery.
Friends called from 5 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday evening.
Casket bearers were Geneva's uncles: Ted Fasching, Troy Fasching, Jon Schendel and Jim Schendel.
The Chilson Funeral in Winsted served the family.
