Cora Christine Hahn
Funeral services for Cora Christine Hahn, 89, of rural Gaylord were held on Monday from Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Auburn, with the Rev. Robert Maland officiating.
Mrs. Hahn died on Thursday, July 20, 2000, at the Glencoe Area Health Center.
Pallbearers were Douglas Schuette, Wayne Rischmiller, Gary Dietel, Dale Rischmiller, Brian Polzin and Robert Hillemann. Interment was in High Island Cemetery in New Auburn.
Cora C. Hillemann was born on Aug. 1, 1910, in New Auburn Township to Louis and Emma (Jopp) Hillemann.
She married Arthur W. Hahn on May 25, 1932, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington. After their marriage, they farmed on the Hahn homestead in New Auburn Township.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Auburn and a member of the Immanuel Lutheran ALCW.
She enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Mrs. Hahn had been a resident of the Glencoe Area Health Center's long-term care facility since March.
Survivors include her son, Earl Hahn of rural Gaylord; sisters-in-law, Elta Hillemann of Arlington and Marie Hillemann of Hutchinson; and many nieces and nephews. She was the adoptive mother of Gary Dietel of Glencoe and Tom Dietel of rural Gaylord.
Mrs. Hahn was preceded in death by her spouse in 1985; parents; and brothers, Ernie Hillemann, Louis Hillemann and Elford Hillemann.
The Egesdal Funeral Home of Gaylord handled the arrangements.
