Myrtle L. Hallman
Myrtle L. Hallman, age 90 of Buffalo, died Monday, Dec. 13, 1999, at her residence.
Myrtle was born in Minneapolis on June 1, 1909, the daughter of John E. and Anna M. (Thune) Berger.
On May 30, 1942, she was joined in holy marriage to Bruce Hallman in North St. Paul. Her husband preceded her in death in 1958.
Myrtle was employed for many years as a cook at the Blue Note Supper Club in Winsted. She later was employed at the Carlson Co. in Mound.
She was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church, Buffalo.
Survivors include a sister, Grace Thompson of Buffalo; nephews and nieces,Gary (Elizabeth) Thompson, Bruce Berger, Gloria (Duane) Hollenbeck, and Donna Braun; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Berger; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Myrtle was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Alden Berger.
Funeral services for Myrtle were Thursday, Dec. 16, 10:30 a.m., at the Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, with the Rev. John P. Folkerds officiating. Interment followed at the Lakeview Cemetery.
Friends called at the Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo served the family.
