Donna Olivia Herrmann
Funeral services for Donna Olivia Herrmann, 55, of Hutchinson were held on Friday, Jan. 15, from Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, with the Rev. Randy Freund and the Rev. David Christensen officiating.
Mrs. Herrmann died on Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, at Hutchinson Community Hospital.
Organist was Shirley Holtz, and the congregational hymns were "When We All Get To Heaven," "Lift High the Cross" and "Amazing Grace."
Pallbearers were Jerry Cook, Scott Black, Ron Skelton, Gary Raduenz, Jimmy Struss and Rick Klaustermeier. Interment was in Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Donna O. Briesemeister was born on April 14, 1943 in Lester Prairie to Herbert and Lydia (Mielke) Briesemeister. She was baptized on May 9, 1943, and confirmed in her youth at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie. She grew up and attended high school in Lester Prairie.
She was married and had five children. They resided in Glencoe until 1989, when she moved to Hutchinson. Most recently, she was employed with Lundahl's Catering.
She was an active volunteer at the nutrition center at Park Towers and the RSVP volunteers. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and the Minnesota Twins.
Survivors include her children, Michael Briesemeister of Elk River, Kevin Herrmann of Hutchinson, Cynthia Heldt of Hutchinson, Sally Cook and husband, Jerry, of Hutchinson and Jeffrey Herrmann of Glencoe; 10 grandchildren; brother, David Briesemeister of Mankato; sisters, LeAnna Gueningsman and husband, Clifford, of Lester Prairie and LaVonne Gueningsman and husband, John, of Lester Prairie; stepbrother, Vernon Briesemeister and wife, Elaine, of Lester Prairie; and stepsister, Lorraine Kohler and husband, Ben, of Winthrop.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister in infancy; and a grandson, Matthew Briesemeister.
The Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel handled arrangements.
