Arnold Herman Klemz
Arnold Herman Klemz, age 94 of Howard Lake, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, at Waconia Ridgeview Hospital.
Arnold was born Jan. 26, 1905, at Maple Lake, Minn., to Emil W. and Augusta (Koepke) Klemz. He was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church in Corinna Township, by the Rev. Alfred Streufert.
Arnold grew up in Corinna Township. He was the oldest of 10 children.
At the time of his death, Arnold has reached the age of 94 years, 10 months, and 27 days.
Survivors include two children: a son, Arlin (Judy) Klemz of Golden Valley, and a daughter, Carol (David) Hubert of Chaska; grandchildren, Melanie Klemz of Golden Valley, Kellie (Kevin) Welch of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Erick Hubert, Aaron Hubert, and Nathan Hubert, all of Chaska; great-grandsons, Brandon and Dustin Welch; and sisters, Ella Miller of Howard Lake, Agnes Engleman of Maple Lake, and Mildred Schubert of Buffalo.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Roger and D. Dennis Klemz; brothers and sisters, Sara Dykhuizen, Elmer Klemz, Ervin Klemz, Esther Rico, Alfred Klemz, and Wilbur Klemz.
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 27, 1999, 2 p.m. from St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Montrose, Minn, with the Rev. Robert Hellmann officiating. Music was by Elliot Epple.
Aaron Hubert, Nathan Hubert, Erick Hubert, and Melanie Klemz served as casket bearers.
Arrangements were by Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home, Howard Lake and Cokato.
