Rick Joseph Lachermeier obituary 1/3/99


Rick Joseph Lachermeier, age 44 of rural Lester Prairie,
died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999 at his residence in Winsted Township.
Rick was born in Glencoe, Minn. on Feb. 23, 1954, the son
of Alois C. and Florentine A. Artmann Lachermeier.
He graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1973 and
later attended St. Cloud State University.
Rick was presently employed by the Young America Corporation
in customer service.
He was a life member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in
Winsted and belonged to Holy Trinity Court 1054 Catholic Order of Foresters.
Rick had a deep appreciation of nature and he loved animals
very much. He also enjoyed antiques.
Rick is survived by his mother, Florentine Lachermeier
of Lester Prairie; brothers, Conrad (Vicky) Lachermeier of Winsted, Glenn
Lachermeier of Lester Prairie and Barb, Randy (Nancy) Lachermeier of Trevor,
Wisc.; a sister, Brenda (Steve) Solum of Carlos; a sister-in-law, Nellie
(Pete) Poetz of Winsted; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, godchildren,
other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alois Lachermeier
in 1996; a brother, Gary Lachermeier in 1983; and by his grandparents.
A concelebrated mass of Christian burial was on Wednesday,
Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. The Revs.
Paul L. Wolf and Robert J. Wyffels were the concelebrants.
Interment was at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Friends called at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted on
Tuesday, Jan. 5, from 3 to 8 p.m. and also at the church on Wednesday, one
hour prior to mass. A parish prayer service was on Tuesday evening at 6:30
p.m. at the funeral home.
