Martha M. Luebke
Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999 for Martha M. Luebke, age 95 of Watertown, Minn., who died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999 at Good Samaritan Center, Waconia.
Martha was born Sept. 9, 1903, at Hamburg, Minn., the daughter of Dietrich and Elise Wroge Stoeckmann. She was baptized Sept. 20, 1903, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hamburg by the Rev. H. J. Bouman; and confirmed there April 1, 1917 by the Rev. F. Pfotenhauer.
On April 25, 1928, Martha married Harry W. Luebke at Emanuel Lutheran Church by the Rev. H. J. Bouman.
She was an honorary member of Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid.
Martha is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Lois Marsh of Mound and Benny and Lowell Ittel of Minnetonka; daughters-in-law, Avis Luebke of Albert Lea and Clara Luebke of Maryland; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She is further survived by her sister, Erna Thiel of Lester Prairie, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Hattie Stoeckmann of Plato, Oscar Rolf of Lester Prairie, Meta Luebke of Mayer, and Evelyn Frank of Waconia; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Martha is preceded in death by her husband Harry W. Luebke; son, Gordon; son-in-law, Vernon Marsh; parents, Dietrich and Elise Stoeckmann; brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waconia with the Revs. Dean E. Mahlum and Peter Peitsch officiating. Interment was at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Waconia.
Casket bearers were Lee Luebke, Larry Luebke, Gale Luebke, Jim Luebke, Terry Ittel, Jeff Ittel, Jerry Heitz, and Ed Landrigan.
Arrangements were by Johnson Funeral Home of Waconia.
