Clements E. Michaels

Clements E. Michaels, age 87 of Howard Lake, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

Clements was born Sept. 9, 1911 in Maple Plain, Minn., the son of John A. and Anna M. (Brenner) Michaels.

He was married to Eva A. Archambault.

Clements was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eva; children: Connie (Tex), Jerry, Mike (Doris), Lee (Lloyd), John (Bonnie), Dennis, Mary (Joe), Barb (Gary), Anita, Ron (Jean), and Ray; 32 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation was at the Church of St. Mary in Waverly from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Tuesday with the Rev. William F. Martin officiating. Music was by St. Mary's Church Choir.

Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were John Kirkpatrick, Daniel Mero, Terry Michaels, Gary Prieve, Dennis Cummins, Bryan Michaels, and Brandt Michaels.
