Rose Marie Mosch obituary, 12/24/99


Rose Marie Mosch, age 55 of Waverly, died Friday, Dec.
24, 1999, at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis.
Rose was born in Waverly on Feb. 19, 1944, the daughter
of Howard C. E. and Dollrus “Dolly” Jewett Grangroth.
She graduated from Howard Lake High School in 1961.
On Sept. 2, 1967, Rose Marie was joined in holy marriage
to Richard D. “Dick” Mosch at the Church of St. Mary, Waverly.
God blessed their marriage with four children: Dan, Jeff, Jon and Christina.
Rose engaged in housecleaning for many years. She also
sold Electrolux Vacuum Cleaners and Golden Pride Raleigh Products.
She was a life-long active member of the Union Presbyterian
Church, Waverly. Rose taught Sunday School for many years and often headed
the Easter breakfasts and Christmas programs.
Survivors include her husband Dick; children: Dan Mosch
of Brooklyn Park, Jeff (Shawn) Mosch of Bloomington, Jon Mosch of Brooklyn
Park, and Christina Mosch of Waverly; a grandson, Tommy; parents, Howard
and Dolly Grangroth of Waverly; and brothers and sisters: Howard (Susan)
Grangroth Jr. of Waverly, Ruby (Don) Pfau of Mesa, Ariz.; Leonard (Diane)
Grangroth of Howard Lake, Mary Ann (Guy) Stitt of Bremerton, Wash.; Harlan
(Yvonne) Grangroth, and Rick (Madonna) Grangroth, all of Waverly, Betty
Lou Neumann of St. Cloud, Ronnie (Cindy) Grangroth of Waverly and Joni Decker
of Howard Lake.
She is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,
many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mr. and
Mrs. Herman Grangroth and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jewett; father-in-law and mother-in-law,
Martin and Bernice Mosch; and by a nephew, Jason Mosch and family.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Dec. 29, at the Buffalo
Presbyterian Church, 2 p.m., with the Rev. Douglas R. Potter officiating.
Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery.
Marlene Mohwinkel was the organist for the funeral service.
“Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound” was sung as a congregational
hymn.
Kurt Horsch, Nathan Kral, Brent Farden, Donald Grangroth,
Pat Grangroth and Paul Neumann served as the casket bearers.
Friends called at the Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, on Tuesday,
Dec. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, served the family.
