Roy C. Noerenberg obituary 9/9/99


Roy C. Noerenberg, age 84 of Hollywood Township, New Germany,
Minn., died Thursday, Sept. 9, 1999 at St. Mary’s Care Center, Winsted.
Roy was born Oct. 12, 1914, at Hollywood Township, Carver
County, Minn., the son of August and Emma (Luebke) Noerenberg. He was baptized
Nov. 1, 1914, at St. John Lutheran Church, Hollywood Township, by the Rev.
Theodore Rolf; and was confirmed at the same April 1, 1928, by the Rev.
W. L. Ernst.
Roy held various church offices including trustee and serving
on the cemetery board.
He is survived by sisters-in-law, Hilda Noerenberg of New
Germany and Lorena Noerenberg of New Germany; nieces, nephews, other relatives,
and friends.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, August and Emma
Noerenberg; brothers: Ruben, John, Otto, Fred, August, and Louis Noerenberg;
and sisters: Lillian Barlau, Hertha Barlau, Edna Narr, and Eleanora Hilk.
Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 13, 1999, 2 p.m., at
St. John Lutheran Church, Hollywood Township, New Germany, with the Rev.
Ronald L. Mathison officiating. Interment was at St. John Lutheran Cemetery,
Hollywood Township, New Germany.
Casket bearers were Jason Burmeister, Nathan Burmeister,
Jamey Hecksel, Brian Hilk, Robert Marsalis, Scott Marsalis, Frank Ebright,
and Jerry Burmeister.
Arrangements were by Johnson Funeral Home, Waconia.
