They were baptized into God's family April 1, 1999, at Children's Hospital, Minneapolis, with 22 family members and friends present.
The family was blessed with them long enough that they touched their hearts, but on April 2, 1999, God called them to heaven, where they can be held and cuddled and loved by Him.
Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at 1 p.m., the Revs. Paul Wolf and Mark Mallak concelebrated the Children's Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted, Minn. Uncles Anthony and Michael Kuehn were the lectors. The immediate family served as gift bearers. Aunts Wendy Paulson and Marcy Schuetze were communion distributors. Cousins Aram Kuehn, Stephanie Kuehn and Kate Schuetze were Mass servers.
Cradle casket bearers were Annamarie's godparents, Susan Kuehn and Steven Otto, and Julianna's godparents, Jacinta Kuehn and David Marquardt.
The sisters were buried with a graveside service at the Holy Trinity Cemetery. A delicious luncheon was served and provided by women of the Holy Trinity parish, numerous family members and friends.
Annamarie and Julianna will remain beloved and remembered by members of their family, which includes two sisters and two brothers, Alaina, Jacob, Michaela and Joseph; and grandparents, James and Norma Kuehn of Winsted and Irene Otto of Lester Prairie; as well as many wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins.
They were preceded in death by three infant siblings and their grandfather, Benedict Otto of Lester Prairie.
