Louise M. Peterson
Louise M. Peterson, age 83 of New Hope and formerly of Northeast Minneapolis and Winsted, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, at St. Therese Care Center, New Hope, Minnesota.
Louise was born in Winsted on Nov. 3, 1916. She graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1935 and attended Minneapolis Business College. She was a secretary at The Church of St. Clement for 27 years.
On Dec. 1, 1945, Louise married Kenneth L. Peterson of Northeast Minneapolis, at St. Ann's Church in Minneapolis.
For the past year and a half, Louise was a resident of St. Therese Apartments in New Hope.
She is preceded in death by husband Kenneth, April 8, 1999; parents, Frank and Josephine Littfin; and four brothers, Carl, Joe, France and Mark Littfin.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Mary Gapinski and husband, Gary; one grandson, Adam; sisters-in-law, Marietta Littfin and Eleanor Peterson; and nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, 10 a.m., at St. Clement's Church, Minneapolis. The Rev. Earl C. Simonson of St. Clement's Church and the Rev. Jerome Coller of St. John's Abbey concelebrated the Mass.
Interment was in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Winsted, Minn.
Pallbearers were Mark, Michael and Charles Littfin; Rosemary Anderson, Jack Roeger and Adam Gapinski.
