Phillip Reimer obituary, 7/6/2000


Phillip Reimer, age 52 of Howard Lake, died Thursday, July
6, 2000, at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis.
Phillip was born July 25, 1947, in Watertown, the son of
Frederic and Lorraine (Mahlstedt) Reimer.
He graduated from Howard Lake High School in 1963.
On Sept. 14, 1968, Phillip and Kathy Juncewski were joined
in holy marriage at St. Adalberts’ Catholic Church, Silver Lake.
Phillip was a member of the First Presbyterian Church,
Howard Lake.
He was also a member of the Leukemia Society of America.
He was an employee of Lifecore Biomedical, Chaska, as a
maintenance mechanic.
Phillip is survived by his wife Kathy; daughters, Carrie
(John) LePage of Monticello, and Amy Reimer and special friend, Wyatt Shaw,
both of Howard Lake; grandson, Josh Lepage; parents, Frederic and Lorraine
Reimer Sr.; a brother, Frederic Jr. (Marie) Reimer of Montrose; a sister,
Linda (Joel) Zabel of Delano; parents-in-law, Raymond and Josie Juncewski;
brother-in-law, Roger (Donna) Juncewski; a sister-in-law, LuAnn Campbell,
all of Howard Lake; and by many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John Campbell.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, July 10, at the
First Presbyterian Church, Howard Lake. The Rev. Lisa Rossi officiated and
interment followed at the Howard Lake Cemetery.
Friends called from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, at the
Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Organist for the service was Sonja Johnson. Soloist was
Brenda Demarais. Congregational Hymns were “Amazing Grace,” “Here
I Am, Lord,” and “On Eagle’s Wings.”
Casket bearers were Ernie Johnson, Jeff Reimer, Tim LePage,
Larry Mahlstedt, Randy Latzig and Everett Johnson.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
