Edna Kreinbring Schetzle
Edna Kreinbring Schetzle, age 95 of Sun City, Ariz., and formerly of Cokato, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at the Sun Health Care Center in Sun City.
Edna was born in Cokato, July 9, 1904, the oldest daughter of William and Alvina Vogel Kreinbring.
After graduating from Cokato High School, Edna attended Carleton College. She received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Minnesota in 1925.
Edna was married to John Schetzle Aug. 27, 1944, in Anchorage, Alaska, where she and her husband both taught school. John died in 1972.
Edna loved teaching high school students, and did so for 44 years in Minnesota, South Dakota, Idaho, Washington, and Alaska. She retired from teaching in 1966.
Her retirement was spent in Washington and Cokato, before moving to Arizona in 1990.
A lifelong member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cokato, Edna was also an associate member of the American Lutheran Church, Sun City, Ariz.
Survivors include two sisters: Eleanor Hamblen of Tucson, Ariz.; and Muriel Gustafson of Sun City; a brother-in-law, Rudy Gustafson of Sun City; nieces, Mary Engan of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Jane Gustafson of Seattle, Wash.; and a nephew, David Gustafson of Eagan, Minn.

54 in the spring with interment at the Howard Lake City Cemetery.
