Elizabeth "Liz" Rathmanner Stoohs

Elizabeth "Liz" Rathmanner Stoohs, age 81 of Winsted, died Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at St. Mary's Care Center, Winsted.

Liz was born in Winsted Township Oct. 30, 1918, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Artmann) Rathmanner.

She graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1937.

Elizabeth was formerly employed at Pacific Telesis Co.

She enjoyed playing cards and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Survivors include her brothers and sisters: Clemens (Dorothy) Rathmanner of Minnetonka; Marie Haskell of Billings, Mont.; Jerome (Mary Ann) Rathmanner of Wilmington, Del.; Ralph E. (Dorothy) Rathmanner of Winsted; Clifford (LuAnn) Rathmanner of Boca Raton, Fla.; and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Liz was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Alexander Rathmanner; a sister, Delores Schlagel; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dr. Matt Campbell, DVM; Bill Haskel, Verla Rathmanner, Clayton Schlagel and Marie Rathmanner.

There is a memorial Mass of Christian Burial today, June 19, 10:30 a.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted. The Rev. Paul L. Wolf is the celebrant for the Mass. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa, Ariz.

Friends may call at the church today, one hour prior to the Mass.
