Lucille M. Wiedenroth obituary, 1/18/2000


Lucille M. Wiedenroth, age 74 of Hutchinson, passed away
at Hutchinson Community Hospital Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000.
Lucille was born June 14, 1925, in Green Isle Township,
Minn., the daughter of Edward and Margaret (Fries) Bruch. She was baptized
as an infant in 1925 at Zion Lutheran Church, Green Isle; and confirmed
in her faith at the same church as a youth in 1939. She attended county
school.
On June 6, 1947, Lucille was united in marriage to Henry
Wiedenroth at Zion Lutheran Church, Green Isle. The family farmed between
Silver Lake and Lester Prairie.
Lucille was a homemaker and also was employed at Telex,
Glencoe; and Barton’s Hatchery. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading,
gardening, birds, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
She was a member of Assembly of God Church, Hutchinson.
Lucille is survived by children and spouses: Eugene Wiedenroth
and wife, Linda, of Hutchinson; Wesley Wiedenroth and wife, Beverly, of
Pine City; Carolyn Ross and fiance’, Tom Westrup, of Winsted; and Juliene
Dalbec and husband, Kevin, of Silver Lake.
She is also survived by grandchildren: Krista Howk and
husband, Dan; Melanie Wiedenroth; Stacy, Amy, and Justin Wiedenroth; Jeremy
and Timothy Ross; Angela Litzau and husband, Duane; and Anthony, Aaron,
and Jake Dalbec; sisters and brothers-in-law, Leona and Jerry Stork, and
Delores and Ernie Zuelch Jr.; brother and sisters-in-law, Loren and Marlene
Bruch, and Arlene Burch; and many other relatives and friends.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Henry in 1994;
her parents; brothers, Edmond Bruch and Harvey Bruch; a sister, Laura Petzel;
and brothers-in-law.
Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 21, 11 a.m. at Assembly
of God Church, Hutchinson, with interment in the Lester Prairie City Cemetery.

The Rev. Max Myers officiated at the funeral service. Organist
was Vicki Stuber. Congregational hymns were “On Eagle’s Wings,”
“How Great Thou Art,” and “What A Friend We Have in Jesus.”
A luncheon immediately followed the service.
Casket bearers were Jeremy Ross, Aaron Dalbec, Timothy
Ross, Jake Dalbec, Anthony Dalbec, and Justin Wiedenroth.
Arrangements were by Dobratz-Hantge Chapel, Hutchinson.
