Leonard G. Zebell
Memorial services were Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, for Leonard G. Zebell, age 76 of Billings, Mont., and formerly of Waconia.
Leonard died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital, Billings.
Leonard was born March 17, 1924, at Bergen Township, McLeod County, Minn., the son of Emil and Laura (Tonn) Zebell. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
Leonard was preceded in death by his first wife Leona (Bahr); father-in-law, William Kenneth Good; and parents, Emil and Laura Zebell.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Vicki Zebell of Waconia; daughter, Laurie Zebell and fiance, Randy Walter of Carver; grandchildren, Joshua Jason and Nicole Zebell, Jill Nichole and Dan Weinand, Jamie Victoria Zebell, Andrew Leslie Kuelbs, Heather Jo Kuelbs, Marty William Kuelbs, Jackie Elizabeth Walter, and Nicholas Joseph Walter; and great-grandson, Justin Gregary Govrik.
Leonard is further survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Luella Graupmann of Montgomery, Viola and Walden Kohls of Buffalo, and Elaine and Melvin Latzig of New Germany; brothers and sisters-in-law, Clarence and Violet Zebell of Glencoe, Maynard and Delores Zebell of Glencoe, and Vernon and Marlene Zebell of Waconia; mother-in-law, Jamesina Good of Columbus, Mont.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Sally Good of Helena, Mont., Albert and Idella Bahr of Waconia, Vernetta Bahr of Mayer, and Minnie Bahr of San Diego, Calif.; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waconia, with the Rev. Peter Peitsch officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Arrangements were by Johnson Funeral Home, Waconia.
