Rosina Julia "Rose" Anderson

Rosina Julia "Rose" Anderson, age 86, and formerly of Winsted and North Minneapolis died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001 at St. Benedict's Center, St. Cloud.

She was born in Winsted Township March 22, 1915, the daughter of Michael and Clara Fasching Neumann.

Rosina was baptized at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted, June 9, 1929.

Rose worked 16 years at Schweigert Meats, and was a former member of St. Bridget Catholic Church, both in N. Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by 11 brothers and sisters.

Rose is survived by daughters, Marilyn M. (Ray) Henningson of Monticello and Karen A. (Bruce) Swanson of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Samantha, Joshua, Dustin, and Blake; great-grandchildren, Carter Rose and Aidan; a brother, Bill (Fran) Neumann of Winsted; a sister: Dolores (Ambrose) Lewandowski of Silver Lake; sister-in-law, Marian Neumann of Winsted; many other relatives, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosina "Rose" Anderson was Monday, Oct. 8, 6 p.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

The Rev. Paul L. Wolf was the celebrant for the Mass. Friends called at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted Monday, Oct. 8, from 3:30 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. A rosary was recited at 4:20 p.m. followed by a time of sharing.

Lavon Kielkucki provided special music for the Mass.

Dustin Denison, Joshua Henningson, Adam Hildreth, Dave Neumann, John Neumann, Rick Neumann, and Steve Neumann served as casket bearers.

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
