Mildred (Millie) Bobrowske
Mildred (Millie) Bobrowske, age 88, died early Sunday morning, Aug. 19, 2001, at Cokato Manor.
Mildred was born Aug. 25, 1912, in Albion Township, Wright County, to Arthur and Selma (Melinsky) Uecker. She was baptized Sept. 15, 1912 and confirmed May 16, 1926 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Middleville.
Mildred married Elmer Bobrowske Sept. 15, 1935 and lived on a farm in Middleville Township their entire married life.
After Elmer's death Sept. 7, 1975, Mildred worked at Cokato Manor until 1992 when she was 80 years old.
Mildred enjoyed gardening, berries, baking, cooking, canning and flowers, and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer and daughter, Evelyn.
Mildred is survived by daughters, Shirley (Edwin) Schmidt of Minnetonka and Janice (Seymour) of St. Louis Park; grandchildren, Tom (Michelle) Schmidt of Maple Grove, Kathy (Mark) Rasmussen of Plymouth, and Gary (Heidi) Schmidt of Eden Prairie; great-grandchildren, Haley and Jesse Schmidt and Evan Rasmussen; sister, Doris (Hubert) Dalbec; sister-in-law, Eva Bobrowske; many nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
Services were conducted Thursday, Aug. 23, 2 p.m., at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Visitation was Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the Swanson Peterson Funeral Home in Howard Lake.
