Tyler Ryan Bonk
Tyler Ryan Bonk, age six months, the son of Joshua and Risa Bonk of Buffalo, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001.
Tyler was born Aug. 11, 2000, in Buffalo.
He was born again to be God's own child by the "washing of water in the Word" when he was baptized on Sept. 10, 2000.
Tyler is survived by his loving parents; maternal grandparents, Mike Samuelson of Buffalo, and Maria Samuelson of Monticello; paternal grandparents, Gary and Cyndi Bonk of Buffalo; maternal great-grandparents, Armas and Helen Aho of Howard Lake and Norma Samuelson of Cokato; paternal great-grandparents, Myrtle Bonk of Buffalo, and Winton and Joan Schlief of Apache Junction, Ariz.; 11 aunts; five uncles; a cousin, Austin; and many other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Ray Samuelson; and his paternal great-grandfather, Ray Bonk.
A funeral service was Monday, Feb. 12, 2 p.m., at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Buffalo, with the Rev. James Disney officiating. Deb Chapa was the organist. Interment followed in Lakeview Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Justin Bonk, Jason Bonk, Daren Samuelson, and Garett Samuelson.
The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo served the family.
