Alice F. Geisinger
Alice F. Geisinger, age 87, of La Mesa, Calif. and formerly of Howard Lake, died July 31, 2001 in La Mesa.
Alice was born in Middleville Township Dec. 12, 1913, to Paul and Clara Uecker. She grew up in Howard Lake, and was schooled in that area.
In 1935, Alice married George J. Geisinger. They moved to Colorado and lived in Pueblo, Colo. until 1982.
In 1982, she returned to Howard Lake to live until April of 1999, when she moved to La Mesa in April of 1999.
Alice worked in the Colorado State Hospital, Pueblo, as a psychiatric nurse for 30 years. Her husband also worked there.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Howard Lake, and currently was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, La Mesa.
Services were conducted Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary Chapel in Lemon Grove, Calif.
Graveside service and interment was Monday, Aug. 6, 10 a.m., at Mountain View Cemetery, Pueblo.
Alice will be buried along side her husband, George J. Geisinger, who died in 1962.
Alice is survived by her two twin children, Donald W. Geisinger of La Mesa, and Donna Reddel of Dennison, Iowa; two sisters, Erna Diers of Howard Lake, and Eldora Stapel of Lester Prairie; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren
