Rachel Denise Hove

Rachel Denise Hove passed away Friday, Oct. 19, at the age of 8 days.

Rachel was born Oct. 11, 2001 at 8:05 a.m. at Trinity Hospital in Minot, N.D., the daughter of Keri and Clayton Hove. She was baptized a few hours after her birth.

Rachel was air ambulanced to Fairview Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, where she was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome.

After two cardiac arrests, Rachel's soul went to heaven.

Rachel is survived by her parents, Keri and Clayton; sister, Grace; maternal grandparents, Dwayne and Rande Sue Diers; paternal grandparents Tom and Judy Hove; paternal great-grandmother, Elma Bakke; aunts, Jill Diers, Molly and uncle Glen Schraufnagel, Alice and uncle Chris Lodermeier; and her uncle, Patrick Hove.

Funeral services took place Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, 10 a.m., at Our Savior's Free Lutheran Church, Stanley, N.D., with the Rev. Rodney Johnson officiating.

Heide Fluhrer was organist for the service. Patrick Hove, Jill Diers, Alice Lodermeier, and Chris Lodermeier served as pallbearers.

Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, Stanley N.D.

Arrangements were made by Spingan Funeral Home, Stanley, N.D.
