John H. Lindstrom
John H. Lindstrom, age 51, of Victoria, and formerly of
Watertown, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at Community Living, Inc. in Victoria.

John was born in Watertown, to Hilmer and Angela Lindstrom.
As a resident at Community Living, Inc. for 28 years, he loved to dance,
go fishing, and go bowling. He was also an avid photographer.
John enjoyed watching Twin’s baseball, Viking’s football,
and wrestling, and made yearly trips with Friendship Ventures Group.
He worked at Wendy’s restaurant, Southtown, and McDonalds,
Eden Prairie, through Opportunities Partners, Minnetonka.
John was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown.
He was formerly a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He was baptized
July 10, 1949, at Bratholdt Hospital, by the Rev. F. J. Pfotenhauer.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Hilmer and Angela
Lindstrom; and grandparents, Ferdinand and Rosa Lange, and Albert and Hulda
Lindstrom.
He is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Dianne
and David Chapeau of St. Paul, and Donna Lindstrom of Watertown; nephews
Thomas and Brian Chapeau; uncle and aunts, Edna and Dudley Terlinden of
Watertown, Ellen (Lange) Nelson of Mound, Betty Lange of Spring Hill, Fla.;
cousins; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services Friday, May 4, 11 a.m., at Zion Lutheran
Church Mayer.The Rev. Peter A. Meier officiated. Interment was at Trinity
Lutheran Cemetery, Watertown.
Casketbearers were Thomas Chapeau, Brian Chapeau, Keith
Berwald, Tom Bartels, Winston Fahse, Brian Wellman, Kevin Wellman and Jim
Wabbe.
Arrangements were made by Johnson Funeral Home, Waconia.
