Beth Ellen Nelson
Beth Ellen Nelson, age 44 of Faribault, and formerly of Lester Prairie, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at her home.
Funeral services were Saturday, March 26, at the Congregational Church of Faribault UCC. The Rev. Norma Rae Hunt officiated at the 3:30 p.m. service.
Visitation was Sunday, March 25, 3 to 7 p.m. at the Boldt Funeral Home, and at the church on Monday, one hour prior to the services.
Beth, the daughter of Harold "Skeets" and Donna (Anderson) Lemke, was born Sept. 23, 1956, in Glencoe, and grew up in Lester Prairie.
She graduated from Lester Prairie High School in 1975, and from the Lakeland College, Sheboygan, Wis., in 1979.
On Aug. 20, 1988, she married William "Bill" G. Nelson at Glencoe.
She was a mathematics teacher at Kaukauna, Wis., Northfield, Minn., and most recently, at Shattuck/St. Mary's, Faribault, as a tutor. Beth took a leave from teaching to raise her children.
Beth is survived by her husband Bill; sons, Mikal and Erik, both of Faribault; a step-son, Blake Nelson of Barnesville; her mother, Donna Lemke of Glencoe; four brothers, Jon (Sharon) Lemke of Iowa City, Iowa; Jay (Cherryl) Lemke of Ontario, CA; Kim (Bobbye) Lemke of Park Rapids, Minn.; and Lee (Laure) Lemke of Glencoe; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold "Skeets" Lemke.
