Helen Elizabeth Schwalbe
Helen Schwalbe, age 70, of Lexington, passed away Sunday,
Nov. 11, 2001, at Brainerd.
Helen Elizabeth Marstealler was born Aug. 14, 1922 in New
Ulm. She was the second of three children born to Fredrich and Frieda Marstealler.
Helen moved to N.E. Minneapolis and married Clarence Schwalbe
of Howard Lake, in March of 1951. They were blessed with four children.
They moved back to the Minneapolis area in October, 1958,
settling in Lexington, where they were yet again blessed with two more children.
She was proceeded in death by parents, Fredrich and Frieda
Marstealler; husband, Clarence; brother, Fredrich; daughter, Marilyn; one
granddaughter; and sister-in-law, Florence Gruenhagen.
Helen is survived by children, Mark (Rachel), Marlin (Theresa),
Marlys Ray (Brian), Matthew (Brenda), Marty; grandchildren, Christopher,
Judy, Jennifer, Karla, Kaleb, Kristina, Jason, Jesse, Carrie, Jeffrey; great-granddaughter,
Christina; brother, Gerald (Shirley) Marstealler; son-in-law, David Nikolaison.
Funeral services for Helen were Wed., Nov. 14, 2001, 10:30
a.m., at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Circle Pines, Minn.
Casketbearers were her grandchildren, Christopher, Judy,
Jennifer, Karla, Kaleb, Kristina; Jason, Jesse, and Carrie Ray, and Jeffrey.
