Isabelle Josephine Weber
Isabelle Josephine Weber, age 86, Winsted, died Friday,
May 18, at St. Mary’s Care Center.
She was born on August 28, 1914 in Winsted, to Paul and
Anna Millerbernd Scherman. :
Isabelle Scherman and Joseph F. Weber, Jr., were joined
in holy marriage at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted, May 21, 1934.
Father Wey officiated at the wedding ceremony. God blessed their marriage
with a son, Leo.
Isabelle and Joseph farmed in Winsted Township and Victor
Township for many years. Isabelle also formerly worked at the Green Giant
plant, Winsted, and at the Blue Note Ballroom.
Isabelle was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic
Church, Winsted, and belonged to the Holy Trinity C.C.W.
She is survived by a son, Leo J. (Mavis) Weber of Winsted;
grandchildren, Warren (Mary) Weber of St. Paul, Wanda Weber of Roseville,
and Wendy (Edmund) Nowak, Jr. of Silver Lake
She is further survived by her great-grandchildren, Joleen,
Melanie, Everett, Arissa and Mackenzie Nowak; brother-in-law, Frank Weber;
and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Weber, both of Winsted; many other relatives
and friends.
Isabelle is preceded in death by her husband in 1995, by
her parents; three sisters, and a brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Isabelle Weber was conducted
Monday, May 21, 11 a.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted. Father
Paul L. Wolf was the celebrant, and interment followed at the Holy Trinity
Cemetery.
Friends called at the Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted, Sunday,
May 20, from 4-8 p.m.. A Prayer service was at 7:30 p.m..
Lavon Kielkucki was the organist for the Mass.
Clem Weber, Don Knott, Dale Quast, Stanley Scherman, Bob
Knott, and Ken Quast, all nephews of Isabelle, served as casket bearers.
The Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted served the family.
