Jodi A. (Just) Diedrich
Jodi A. (Just) Diedrich, age 26, of Grand Forks, N.D.,
and formerly of Howard Lake, passed away Friday, March 15, 2002, in Altru
Hospital, Grand Forks.
Jodi Alan Just was born Jan. 30, 1976, in Minneapolis,
the son of Paul and Donna (Just) Diedrich. He was raised and educated in
Howard Lake. He graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris, with
a bachelors degree in psychology.
He moved to Grand Forks in 1998, and was residential manager
and QMRP of a group home for Developmental Homes of Grand Forks. He married
Jyl Matson Aug. 23, 1997 in Fosston, Minn.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Angelique Diedrich.
Jodi’s wife, Jyl, survives along with his parents; brothers,
Stephen and Ednel; and sisters, Christa and Magalie, all of Howard Lake.
He is further survived by grandparents, Carl and Glenda
Just of Sunburg, Minn., and James and Annetta Diedrich, of Edina; uncles
and aunt, Jim Just, Dennis Just, and Nan Just and their families.
Funeral services were Thursday, March 21, 2002, 2 p.m.,
at Howard Lake Christian Church. The Rev. Rick Messer and the Rev. Pat Ridpath
officiated at the service. Music was provided by Dennis Entinger and Dave
Burkum.
Carl Diedrich, Dennis Just, Matthew Just, Phil Entinger,
James Just, and Brent Vetterley served as casketbearers.
Visitation was Wednesday, March 20, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m.
and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment was at Howard Lake City Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home
of Cokato and Howard Lake.
