Thomas Wilfred Fiecke
Thomas Wilfred Fiecke was born July 8, 1982, in Waconia, to Timothy and Julie (Decker) Fiecke.
He was baptized at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waverly.
Tom attended Howard Lake schools and also high school in Milbank, S.D. When he was a sophomore, the family moved to Milbank. Tom moved back to Howard Lake when he was 17.
After school, Tom went to work at Rothgraves where he did teflon coatings. He then worked at Extreme Imaging in Buffalo, ABC Truss Company, Randy Trulson Roofing Company of Rockford, and was about to start work for Modern Molding of Delano.
Tom enjoyed basketball, working out, boating, camping, and attending baseball games. He enjoyed farming, animals, and spending time with his friends. Tom was a carefree spirit and enjoyed living life to the fullest. He had a special way with people.
Thomas passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, as the result of an auto accident that occurred Sept. 23. He had reached the age of 20 years, two months, and 17 days.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wilfred Decker, aunt Beverly Decker, and uncle Timothy R. Decker.
Thomas is survived by his parents; brothers Lewis, Nic, and Mack; his shining star, Jessica Streich; grandparents, Louis and Delores Fiecke and Beverly Decker; other family members and friends.
A funeral service took place Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, 2 p.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church of Howard Lake, with the Rev. Bob Ramphel officiating.
Music was provided by Grant Judd, Dana Weigert, and Susie Lange.
Casket bearers were Lewis Fiecke, Mack Fiecke, Nic Fiecke, Eric Knowles, Dan Smith, Travis Kotila, Ryan Streich, and Aaron Williams.
Arrangements were made by Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home of Cokato and Howard Lake.
