Albert Geisenkoetter, age 89, of rural Howard Lake, died Thursday, July 11, 2002, at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
He was born Sept. 13, 1912, in Victor Township, Wright County, the son of Henry and Mary Bickmann Geisenkoetter.
Albert engaged in farming his entire life near Lake Mary in Victor Township. He was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted and also belonged to the Catholic Order of Foresters Holy Trinity Court #1054.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Monsignor Henry Geisenkoetter, Ben Geisenkoetter, Joseph Geisenkoet-ter, and Carl Geisenkoetter; and sisters, Mary Geisenkoetter, Ann Lange, and Sister Doris Geisenkoetter, SSSF.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Lorina Geisenkoetters; a niece, a nephew, and the Bickmann family.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Albert Geisenkoetter took place Monday, July 15, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. The Rev. Paul L. Wolf was the celebrant and interment followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Jessica Scherer was the organist for the Mass.
Friends called Sunday, July 14, at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted from 4 to 8 p.m. A Catholic Order of Foresters Rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m., and a parish prayer service was at 7 p.m.
Donald, John, Chris, Pat, and Jeff Bickmann, and Dennis Butterfass served as casket bearers.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
