Margaret Ann Kutz

Margaret Ann Kutz, age 70, of Waverly, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.

She was born July 31, 1931, to John A. and Marie (Meehan) Rogers in Marysville Township.

Margaret married Harvey D. Kutz, and they enjoyed 53 years of marriage. This union produced five children, 15 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Margaret loved sewing, crafting, fishing with Harvey, teaching, and being a grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Waverly, and a member of the Legion Auxiliary.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Rogers; two grandchildren, Laura and Nathan Kutz; two brothers-in-law, Paul Luedke and Elmer Kutz; and a sister-in-law, Kay Kutz.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey; two daughters, Carol and Launie Tuchtenhagen, Lisa and Terry Posch; three sons, John and Lois, Thomas and Marsha, and Kenneth and Angela; 13 grandchildren, David (Jill), Brian (Nicole), Kevin (Holly), and Karie Tuchtenhagen, Angela (Jacob) Hertel, Kyle and Jacob Kutz, Rachel, Crystal, Noel Kutz, Brandon Cole, Blake Posch; great-grandchildren, Haley, Brock, Jordyn Tuchtenhagen, Elizabeth Kutz, and Cortney Long;

Two brothers, Jack (Pat) Rogers, and Jim (Shirley) Rogers; two sisters, Sister John Ellen Rogers, Dorothy (Melvin) Stuhr; sister-in-law, Ardis Luedke.

A Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, April 2, 2002, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Waverly. Visitation was the night before and the day of the service.

Music was provided by the St. Mary's Choir, and Mae Wannarka served as organist.

The Rev. William Martin officiated.

David, Brian, and Kevin Tuchtenhagen, and Noel, Kyle, and Jacob Kutz served as pallbearers.

Interment was at the church cemetery.

Arrangements were made by Iten Funeral Home, Delano.
