Mary Lou Mengelkoch
Mary Lou Mengelkoch, age 60, of South Haven, and formerly
of Waverly, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, at the Delano Health Care Center
in Delano.
She was born March 11, 1942, to William and Lucille (Motzko)
Bernick in Delano.
She married Donald Mengelkoch April 22, 1961. They were
blessed with six children.
Mary Lou liked to take walks and work in her garden on
the flowers and plants. She enjoyed dancing and singing, and took pleasure
in the daily chores associated with raising a family. Her greatest joy was
taking care of her family.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, brother
Richard Bernick, and brother-in-law Richard Fesenmaier.
She is survived by her husband Donald; sons William, Mike
(Charlene), Mark (Bonnie), Donald, Kevin (Barbara), and daughter Brenda
(Kevin) Strauss; eight grandchildren, and sister Carmen Fesenmaier.
Memorial services took place Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at
the Iten Funeral Home in Delano. Gathering time was for one hour prior to
services at the funeral home. Deacon Joseph Kittock officiated.
Arrangements were made by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
