Cliff A. Rathmanner

Cliff A. Rathmanner, age 75, of Boca Raton, Fla. died July 9, 2002.

He was born Nov. 8, 1926, in Winsted.

He was a veteran of WWII in the US Navy, a restaurateur, and a land developer.

He is survived and is loved and missed by his wife of 49 years, Luanne Rose, and their seven children, Steven of Woodbridge, Va., William of Parkland, Fla., Bonnie Rose (Craig) Nusrala of Gulfstream, Fla., Randall of Delray Beach, Fla., John (Brooke) of Boca Raton, Fla., Robert (Dana) of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Susan Joy (Eddie) Navarro of North Miami Beach, Fla.;

nine grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Karen, Kimberly Rathmanner, Daniel and Nicolas Navarro, Ann Marie Rose Nusrala, Jake Rathmanner, and Madison Ann Rathmanner; his brothers Clem (Dorothy) Rathmanner of Minnesota, Jerry (Mary Ann) Rathmanner of Delaware, sister-in-law Dorothy Rathmanner of Winsted, and his sister Marie Haskell of Montana.

Funeral services were Saturday July 13, 2002, 11 a.m., at the Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Boca Raton, Fla., followed by entombment in the Boca Raton Mausoleum.

Friends called Friday, July 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Legion Post 277 of Boca Raton.

The lives that he touched were greatly enriched by his presence, and he will be missed by all who loved him.
