Louis A. Fiecke
Louis A. Fiecke, 74, of rural Howard Lake died Sunday evening, March 2, 2003 at St. Mary's Care Center in Winsted.
Louis Fiecke was born August 7, 1928 in Victor Township, Wright County, the son of Bernard "Ben" and Emma Wessling Fiecke.
Louis Fiecke and Delores E. LaMott were joined in Holy Marriage at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Silver Lake May 23, 1950. God blessed their marriage with six children.
Louis engaged in dairy farming in Victor Township for many years and was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.
He also belonged to the National Belgian Horse Association.
He is survived by his loving wife, Delores E. Fiecke; children Kenneth (Sheila) Fiecke of Eden Prairie, Daniel (Holly) Fiecke of Pierz, Patricia (Mike) Hensel, Sandra Fiecke and friend Daniel Florey of Bloomington, Timothy (Julie) Fiecke and Ricky Fiecke all of Howard Lake; seventeen grandchildren, Lori and Tim, Jennifer, Jeremy (Tina), Brady and Kody, Abby, Britty, Koty and Morgan, Alyssa, Lewis, Nic and Mack, Seth and Amy and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ben and Emma Fiecke, a grandson, Thomas Fiecke, a brother LeRoy Fiecke, and a sister, Annie Thiemann.
A concelebrated mass of Christian burial for Louis took place Thursday, March 6 at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Paul L. Wolf and Father Martin F. Rath, OSB were the concelebrants.
Chuck Thiel was the soloist for the mass.
Friends called Wednesday, March 5 from 4 to 8 pm at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted. A prayer service was held at 7:30 pm.
Honorary casket bearers were Abby Hensel, Britty Hensel, Koty Hensel, Morgan Hensel, Alyssa Florey, Amy Fiecke, Mack Fiecke and Brady Wolf.
Casket bearers were Kody Wolf, Jeremy Fiecke, Jenny Fiecke, Lewis Fiecke, Nic Fiecke, Lori Arnold and Seth Fiecke.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
