Brett Harold Stuart Fosmo, 15
Brett Harold Stuart Fosmo, 15, of Waconia,
died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003 as a result of a vehicle accident.
He was born July 21, 1988, at Waconia, the
son of Bruce and Janice (Schwalbe) Fosmo.
He was baptized July 31, 1988, at Trinity
Lutheran Church, Waconia, by the Rev. Robert Schaeffer, and confirmed
May 4, 2003 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waconia, by the Rev.
Dean Mahlum and the Rev. Peter Peitsch.
Brett attended Mayer Lutheran High School
and was in ninth grade. He was in the Student Fire Youth Group
at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waconia. He worked at McDonald's
in Waconia, and was a lawn service entrepreneur.
He hunted and fished in northern Minnesota
and Wisconsin with his dad and brothers where he shot his first
buck this year. He hauled and stacked wood for his grandpa every
year, and enjoyed his grandma's cinnamon rolls. Brett enjoyed
kayaking. He was an organ donor.
Brett was preceded in death by grandmother
Lorraine Schwalbe, and cousins Laura and Anne Schwalbe.
He is survived by his loving parents Bruce
and Janice Fosmo of Waconia, brother Adam Fosmo of Waconia, grandparents
Harold Schwalbe of Waconia, and Stuart and Barbara Fosmo of Siren,
Wis.
He is further survived by uncles and aunts
Ken and Rachel Schwalbe of Waconia, Chery and John Vinkemeier
of Mayer, Connie and Dick Zander of Howard Lake, Joanne and Lyle
Hartwig of Mayer, Mark and Violet Schwalbe of Cologne, Jim Schwalbe
of Waconia, Bev and Brad Schrupp of Norwood Young America, Suzanne
and Lee Helene of Siren, Wis., Sheryl and Bill Schumaker of Hudson,
Wis., cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services for Brett Harold Stuart Fosmo
were Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at 3 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church,
Waconia, with the Rev. Dean Mahlum officiating.
Casketbearers were Nathan Salden, Philip Rogosienski,
Nathaniel Jeffries, Jeffrey Mellgren, Jason Brandenburg, Noah
Schwalbe, Paul Schwalbe, and Mark Helene.
Arrangements were made by the Johnson Funeral
Home of Waconia.
