Justin G. Hartneck, age 18, of Watertown, died accidentally
Monday, Nov. 24, 2003. He was born June 29, 1985, to Jerry and Bonnie Hartneck
in Waconia, Minn.
Justin was baptized into his faith at Mt. Olive Lutheran
Church in Delano. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Justin attended St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s Lutheran School until the eighth
grade, at which time he went on to Watertown-Mayer High School.
Justin’s hobbies in life involved the outdoors and wheels.
Anything with wheels was a passion.
Justin is preceded in death by his grandparents Jim and
Viola Hartneck, and Ed and Mary Johnson, uncle Butch “Edwin Jr.”
Johnson, and cousin Bobby Buskey.
He is survived by his parents Jerry and Bonnie Hartneck,
sisters Sandy and Leon Pouliot, Janell Honebrink and fiancée Mark
Kunze, Jera Hartneck and friend Grant Heil, brother and sister Jim and Jackie
(Hartneck) Honebrink, and nephews Eric, Cole, and Wyatt Pouliot, Andrew,
Dakota, and Devin Kunze.
Justin is further survived by aunts and uncles Ron and
Lorraine Hartneck, Diane Christiansen, Pat Huhn, Raymond and Melody Johnson,
Joan Buskey, Tom Johnson, Jim Johnson and special friend Barb, Lynda and
Ted Johnson, Pat and Ed Williams, Dan Johnson, and many counsins and friends.
Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, at St. Paul’s
Lutheran Church in Watertown. The Rev. Paul D. Krentz officiated, with music
provided by organist Brenda Cox and soloist Todd Hendricks.
Casketbearers were Bob Helmbrecht, Kevin Maas, Tim Schindel,
Shawn Halbert, Andy Grosshuesch, Cody Kottke, Ryan Durr, Adam Raymond, Trevor
Williams, Chris Hayden, Derek Somerfeld, and Travis Williams.
Justin will be missed dearly.
Arrangements were made by the Iten Funeral Home of Watertown.
