Louis T. Hoffmann
Louis T. Hoffmann, age 70, of Winsted, died Wednesday morning, March 19, 2003, at the Glencoe Regional Health Services.
He was born May 23, 1932 in Winsted Township, McLeod County, the son of Frank and Elizabeth Krueger Hoffmann.
Louis graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1950.
He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
He was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, and belonged to American Legion Post 407.
Louis engaged in dairy farming near Winsted for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Elizabeth Hoffmann, brother Benedict F. Hoffmann, sister Lorraine Mehring, an infant brother, and an infant sister.
He is survived by brother Ray (Annella) Hoffmann and twin sister Leona (Thomas) Drew all of Winsted; eight nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Concelebrated Mass for Louis Hoffmann took place Saturday, March 22 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Paul L. Wolf and Father Martin F. Rath, OSB were the Concelebrants.
Lavon Kielkucki was the organist for the Mass.
Friends called at the church Saturday, March 22, one hour prior to the Mass.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
