Rita Ann Pederson, age 76, of Walker, died Saturday, Dec.
13, 2003 at her home.
Rita and Bernie raised their family in Hutchinson. Rita
was very active in St. Anastasia Catholic Church. She worked part-time at
Heil Drug. They owned and operated Prairie Liquors in Lester Prairie.
They then moved to Walker and owned Bromley’s 10 Mile Inn.
Rita and Bernie enjoyed their winters in Apache Junction, Ariz. and spending
their summers on Leech Lake.
Rita enjoyed playing cards, embroidering, gardening, canning,
baking, cooking, fishing, winter trips to Arizona, socializing, and spending
time with her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Ann
Decker, son Dan Pederson, great grandson, Cole Pederson, four brothers,
and two sisters.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 56 years, Bernie;
her children Nancy (Jim) Blair of St. Cloud, Pete (Beth) Pederson of Walker,
Connie (Dale) Posl of Maple Grove, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren,
brother James Decker, sister Frances Loncorich, and many other relatives
and friends.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003 at 11 a.m.
at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Walker, with Fr. Fredrick Method officiating.

Visitation was Monday, Dec. 15, 2003 at the Thomas-Dennis
Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday one hour prior to services at
the church. A prayer service was conducted Monday night at5:30 p.m.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Walker.
Arrangements were made with the Thomas-Dennis Funeral Home
of Walker.

Arrangements were made by Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home
of Howard Lake and Cokato.
