Ruth Wilhelmina Strohschein
Ruth Wilhelmina Strohschein, age 87, of Forest Lake, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2003.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Leonard in 1965; sister Freida Schendel in 1967, and granddaughter Stephanie Strohschein in 1978.
She is lovingly remembered by her children John (Connie), Mary (Robert "Van") Pennell, and Dorothy (Dan) Patterson; six grandchildren Tim, Sarah, and Katie Strohschein, Alex Pennell, Beth (Dante) Vono, and Mary Patterson, one sister Bess (Al) Strohschein, brother-in-law Fred Schendel, sister-in-law Vi Strohschein, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Graveside service was Friday, Jan. 31, at 1 p.m. at Howard Lake Cemetery in Howard Lake.
Service of praise and thanksgiving was Saturday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to service at Messiah Lutheran Church.
