Severin Joseph Weber
Severin Joseph Weber, age 10 months, of rural Silver Lake,
died Monday evening, Feb. 24, 2003, at the Hutchinson Community Hospital.
He was born April 1, 2002, in Glencoe, the son of Steven
and Janelle MalIak Weber.
He was born again to be God’s own Child by the “washing
of water in the Word” when he was baptized by Father Robert J. Mraz
at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake April 28, 2002.
Severin was preceded in death by great grandparents Daniel
Weber, Frank and Mary Bayerl, Joseph and Irene Mallak, Sr., and Raymond
and Louise Fasching.
He is survived by his loving parents Steven and Janelle
Weber of rural Silver Lake; brother Spenser Weber; two sisters: Shantel
and Savanna Weber; grandparents Charles and Rosemary Weber of Howard Lake,
and Joe and Connie Mallak of Winsted; great grandmother Elizabeth Weber
of Winsted; God parents Patrick and Brenda Fogarty of Silver Lake; aunts,
uncles, cousins, many other relatives, and friends.
A Mass of the Angels for Severin Weber was Friday, Feb.
28 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. Father Robert
J. Mraz was the celebrant, and interment followed at Holy Family Cemetery
in Silver Lake.
Alice Nowak was the organist for the Mass. “Here I
Am Lord,” “On Eagle’s Wings,” “I Am The Bread of Life,”
and “How Great Thou Art” were sung as congregational hymns.
Friends called Thursday, Feb. 27 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the
Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake. A prayer service was at 8 p.m.
Jessica Fogarty, Felicia Fogarty, Tera LaZarre, and Tonya
LaZarre served as casket bearers.
The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake served the family.
