Marion E. Wren
Marion E. Wren, age 68, of Mound, died Monday, March 10,
2003, at her home in Minnetrista after a brief illness from cancer.
Marion was born Jan. 26, 1935, in Waconia, the daughter
of James R., Sr., and Frances A. (Segner) Kirsch.
She was confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in St.
Bonifacius, and was a graduate of Waconia High School.
She was united in marriage to Lawrence F. Wren June 30,
1954, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in St. Bonifacius.
Marion was preceded in death by her father James Kirsch,
Sr.; brothers James Kirsch, Jr., and Leon Kirsch; brother-in-law Herb Van
Eyll; and sister-in-law Ruth Kirsch.
She is survived by her husband Larry; children and spouses
Debra and Gerry Laumann of Mayer, Mike and Carol Wren of Waverly, Cheryl
and Brad Stannard of Mound, Lori and Mark Reinhardt of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.,
Steve and Stephanie Wren of Spring Park, Jeff and Lori Wren of Mound;
grandchildren Jenifer, Christine, Brandon, Aubrey, Charlie,
Colin, Connor, Connor, and Amanda; great-grandchild Nicole; and mother Frances
Kirsch of St. Bonifacius.
She is further survived by sisters and brother-in-law Delores
Van Eyll of Waconia, Fran and Larry Schuler of St. Bonifacius; brothers
and sisters-in-law Florian Kirsch and friend Ruth of St. Bonifacius, Ray
and Clarice Kirsch of St. Bonifacius; Gerry Kirsch of St. Bonifacius, Linette
Kirsch of St. Bonifacius;
sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Harriet Harper of Louisville,
Ky., Marge and Tom Driessen of Mound, Paul and Gloria Wren of Mayer; nieces,
nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial took place Friday, March 14,
2003, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mound at 10:30 a.m. Father
Stan Mader officiated.
Interment was at the National Cemetery in Fort Snelling.
Florian Kirsch, Ray Kirsch, Gerry Kirsch, Tom Driessen,
Larry Schuler, and Paul Wren served as casketbearers.
Arrangements were made by Johnson Funeral Home of Waconia.
