Lois “Louise” J. Arle

Lois “Louise” J. Arle, age 95 of Kenosha, Wis.; died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004 at Washington Manor.

She was born Jan. 3, 1909 in Winsted, the daughter of Joseph and Martha (Packer) Cloutier.

Lois attended schools in Minnesota.

She married Lloyd Arle in April of 1943 in Minneapolis. They moved to Wisconsin in 1945.

After to moving to Milwaukee in the 1950s, Lois was employed by many different private residences as a gourmet cook.

In 1982, she moved to Kenosha, living with her daughter.

She was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, baking, jigsaw puzzles, and gardening.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Denise Arneson of Kenosha, Wis.; a sister, Luciola Cloutier of Milwaukee; a nephew, Raymond Cloutier of Blaine; two grandchildren: Brian Kelly and Donna (Dan) Kelly-Birch; two great-grandchildren, Christopher Kelly and Amanda Fellner; and many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, Sept. 3, 1985; eight brothers, one sister, and a great-grandson, Devin, in infancy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, with the Rev. Paul L. Wolf as the celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church Wednesday morning, Dec. 29, one hour prior to the Mass.

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
