Gary George Entinger
Gary George Entinger, age 39 of rural Winsted, died suddenly Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004 in Winsted Township, McLeod County.
He was born Feb. 10, 1965 in Winsted, the son of Fred M. “Fritz” and Dorothy C. Kieser Entinger.
Gary graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1983 and played on the varsity basketball team. He also placed at the state track meet in the high hurdles his senior year.
Gary was employed for many years at Millerbernd Manufacturing.
He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and many hours of gardening and canning vegetables.
Gary was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.
He is survived by his loving parents: Fred M. “Fritz” and Dorothy C. Entinger of Winsted; five brothers: Calvin M. (Elizabeth Miller) Entinger of Maple Grove, Ronald W. (Carol) Entinger of Chanhassen, Michael R. (Cynthia A.) Entinger of Mound, Daniel E. (Cynthia A.) Entinger of Silver Lake, and John J. (Colleen) Entinger of Waverly; numerous nieces and nephews; his godchild, Matthew Entinger; a lifelong friend, Matt Hahn; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peter and Frances Entinger, and Martin and Catherine Kieser.
A concelebrated Memorial Mass took place Tuesday, Nov. 2 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. The Rev. Paul L. Wolf and Stan P. Mader were the concelebrants, and interment followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Friends called Monday, Nov. 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted. A rosary was recited at 5: 15 p.m.. and a prayer service took place at 7:30 p.m.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
