Ann V. Fiecke obituary, 8/30/04


Ann V. Fiecke, age 87, formerly of rural Silver Lake, died Monday Aug. 30, 2004 ,at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.
She was born Oct. 5, 1916 in Winsted Township, the daughter of Clemens and Anna Karels Artmann.
Ann and Louis C. Bebo were joined in holy marriage Sept. 9, 1936 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. They later divorced.
Ann and Ben Fiecke were joined in holy marriage March 15, 1960.
A lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, Ann attended Holy Trinity Catholic School, and was a member of the St. Anne’s Society.
She is survived by her children: Dorothy (Ron) Karels of Winsted, Lorraine (Ray) Trnka of Conchas Dam, N.M., Duane Bebo of Big Lake, Harold (Rita) Bebo of Monticello, Merrill Bebo of Minneapolis, Roger (Ute) Bebo of Spring Hill, Fla., Mary (Jack) Wiemiller of Winsted, Earl (Lori) Bebo of Robbinsdale, Betty (Jim) Konerza ofTonka Bay, Bruce (Deb) Bebo of Silver Lake, Kathleen Palm of St. Louis Park, Vonnie (Donnie) Nowak of Silver Lake, and Sue (John) Knouse of Akeley; 32 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her husbands: Louis C. Bebo, who died Nov. 20, 1986, and Ben Fiecke, who died April 28, 1991; her parents, Clemens and Anna; a daughter-in-law, Diane Bebo; and 10 brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian burial was Thursday Sept. 2, at 3:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Paul L. Wolf was the celebrant.
Ann’s favorite hymns: “How Great Thou Art,” “The Lord is My Shepherd,” “Gentle Woman,” and “On Eagles Wings” were sung during the ceremony. The offertory gift bearers were Deb Bebo and Betty Konerza, and Ann’s son, Harold, assisted Father Paul with the holy sacrament of communion. Interment was at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
A visitation took place Wednesday, Sept. 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted. St. Anne’s Society said a rosary at 7 p.m., and parish prayers were at 7:30 p.m. There was further visitation one hour prior to the mass at the funeral home on Thursday.
Sons Duane, Harold, Merrill, Roger, Earl, and Bruce Bebo served as casketbearers.

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
