Sandra May Juncewski
Sandra May Lockwood Moe Juncewski, age 54 of Dassel, formerly of Silver Lake and Howard Lake, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004.
She was born June 17, 1950 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Henry and Minnie (Rushford) Lockwood. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith, and was presently attending the Church of Christ in Dassel.
Sandra grew up in the Corcoran, Rockford, and Delano areas, attending school at Rockford.
She was united in marriage to Clifford Moe in South Dakota Dec. 18, 1965. Together, they made their home in Andover for many years, before moving to Howard Lake.
Sandra was united in marriage to David Juncewski in 1995 in Las Vegas. Sandra and David made their home in the Silver Lake area.
Sandra was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed seeing people well fed, and especially enjoyed cooking for the holidays. She always had a flower garden and a small vegetable garden, that she would can the vegetables from.
A talented songwriter, Sandra loved to play the guitar. She knew just how to decorate her home, and helped decorate the homes of friends.
Most of all, her family remembers her love of her grandchildren and friends. She would do anything to help, just to see a smile on their faces.
Sandra is survived by her husband, David Juncewski of Silver Lake; children Randy Moe of Cokato, Robert Moe of Waverly, and Kerrina Moe of Dassel; step-children Frank Chloupek of Silver Lake, Shelly Chloupek of Waverly, Kelly (Jeff) Lhotka of Litchfield, and Angie Juncewski of Buffalo; and eight grandchildren.
She is further survived by three brothers, William (Shirley) Lockwood of Cedar, Melvin (Mary Lou) Lockwood of Andover, and Donald (Jan) Lockwood of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Mildred (Arlen) Peterson of Fifty Lakes, Diane (Dennis) Jussila of Annandale, and Susan (Alvin) Jensen of Dassel; and a sister-in-law, Judy Lockwood of Sterling, Colo.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Richard Lockwood; one nephew, Dade Jussila; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. at Church of Christ in Dassel, with the Rev. Marc Grindle officiating.
Visitation was Friday, Dec. 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel, and one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
The Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel handled the arrangements.
