Evelyn A. Kassulker, 66
Evelyn A. Kassulker, age 86 of New Germany, died Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Elim Home, Watertown.
She was born Sept. 18, 1917 at Bergen Township, the daughter of Henry and Elma (Huser) Dressler. She was baptized Oct. 14, 1917 at Frieden’s County Line Church, Plato, by the Rev. W. G. Rath; and confirmed there May 25, 1930 by the Rev. D. U. Hafermann.
Evelyn was married Sept. 10, 1928 to Merlin C. Kassulker, at Frieden’s County Line Church, Plato, by the Rev. Nusman.
Family was very important to Evelyn, including her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a great helper to Merlin on the farm.
Evelyn was a member of St. John’s Ladies Aid of St. John Lutheran Church, Hollywood Township.
She is survived by her husband, Merlin; children and spouses: Duane and JoAnn Kassulker of Mayer, Bonnie and John Boll of Watertown; and Brenda and Michael Donahue of New Germany; grandchildren: Steve and Tammy Kassulker, Marci and Lonnie Theisen, Dave Donahue and special friend Katie Henning, Jeff Boll and special friend Angie Neumann, Jamie and Luke Runka, Josh Boll and special friend Holly Schmidt, Becky Boll and special friend Mike Paschke, Joe Donahue, and Jesse Boll.
Evelyn is further survived by great-grandchildren Ryan and Hailey Kassulker, and Jake and Luke Theisen; brother and sister-in-law Delbert and Geneva Dressler of Lester Prairie, brother-in-law Norman Kassulker of New Germany, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Elma Dressler, sister Lorraine Kassulker, brother Harold Dressler, father-in-law and mother-in-law William and Alma Kassulker, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Howard and Malinda Kassulker, and Stella and Jerome Hecksel; and nephew Gordon Kassulker.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 1, 10:30 a.m., at St. John Lutheran Church, Hollywood Twp., New Germany, with the Vicar Robert J. Rupprecht officiating. Interment was at St. John Lutheran Cemtery, New Germany.
Casket bearers were grandsons Steve Kassulker, Dave Donahue, Jeff Boll, Josh Boll, Joe Donahue, and Jesse Boll.
Arrangements were by Johnson Funeral Home, Waconia.
