Sylvia F. Lillemo

Sylvia F. Lillemo, age 92 of Watertown, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at Ridgeview Medical Center, Waconia.

She was born April 22, 1912 at Independence, the daughter of Sever and Marie (Asmus) Lillemo. She was baptized May 19, 1912 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Watertown Twp., by the Rev. F. H. Kretzschmar; and confirmed May 24, 1925 at the same church by the Rev. W. L. Ernst.

During her lifetime, Sylvia was employed by the Watertown Bank, Quinn Transfer, and Linda’s Cafe.

She and her sister, Amanda, always enjoyed the Christmas holidays, having a 12-foot tree and decorating every branch to the fullest.

Sylvia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Mary Ann Lillemo of Shingle Springs, Calif.; grandchildren Lisa and Dennis Stachowski of Robbinsdale, and Mike Lillemo and special friend Pam Sheldon of Big Lake; great-grandchildren Joshua, Mason, and Ryan; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sever and Marie Lillemo; sisters Hulda Schillling, Bertha Johnson, Clara Berglund, Althea Schendel, and Amanda Lillemo; and brothers Reginald and Walter Lillemo.

Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Watertown Twp., with the Rev. Bill Hillyer officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Casket bearers were Thomas Feltmann, Eugene Feltmann, Daniel Hoese, Douglas Hoese, Jonathan Hoese, Scott Hoese, and Steven Schilling.

Visitation was Friday, Nov. 26 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

The Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia handled the arrangements.
