Richard G. Raether

Richard G. Raether, age 55 of Crystal, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale.

Richard was born July 25, 1949 in Glencoe, the son of Milton and Lorraine (Roepke) Raether. He was baptized at St. Mark Lutheran Church in New Germany.

Richard served in the U. S. Army for two years.

He enjoyed reading the Bible.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Rachel Zeidler of Buffalo; grandchildren: Josephine and Mitchell Zeidler; brothers Russel Raether of Cloquet, David Raether of Cokato, and Floyd Raether of Hayward, Wis.; uncles, aunts, and other relatives and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Lorraine Raether; and his grandparents.

Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Waconia, with the Rev. Jeff Harter officiating. Interment was at National Cemetery, Fort Snelling.

Visitation was Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

The Johnson Funeral Home of Waconia handled the arrangements.
